Returning with their first studio album in five years, Echo and The Bunnymen’s Meteorites has been compared to some of the band's best material. Down to only two original members, leader/singer/songwriter Ian McCulloch and guitarist Will Sergeant, these songs are largely autobiographical, dealing with McCulloch's self-reflection facing his demons, his personal journey and rebirth. Meteorites was produced by influential producer Youth (U2, The Verve) who encouraged McCulloch to reach deep down inside himself and write such personal songs.
