"Dreamy, intricate stuff worth repeated re-hearings." - Yahoo! Music "... this L.A.-based band’s trance-inducing strings make for an epic listening experience. They weave elements of Americana, psychedelia and post-rock, recalling the likes of Phillip Glass, Etta James and Moondog." - Hyphen Magazine Moving On is the 2014 debut album of orchestral pop from L.A. group Kan Wakan. Consisting of composer/multi-instrumentalist Gueorgui I. Linev, singer Kristianne Bautista and producer/guitarist Peter Potyondy, the group plays sophisticated, moody tunes with lush arrangements. Bulgarian-born Linev set out to create instrumental music inspired by his lifelong passion for classical minimalism, but the involvement of chanteuse Bautista and Potyondy saw the project grow in both scope and purpose. Moving On was co-produced by multiple Grammy award winner Darrell Thorp (Radiohead, Beck, Gnarls Barkley) and mixed by Grammy winner Tom Elmhirst (Adele, The Black Keys, Amy Winehouse, Arcade Fire). The sessions were adorned with sumptuous strings performed by the Metamorphosis Chamber Orchestra and conducted by Linev’s beloved uncle, Bulgarian Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra music director/conductor Stefan Linev.

What is High-Resolution Audio?

High-resolution audio offers the highest-fidelity available, far surpassing the sound quality of traditional CDs. When you listen to music on a CD or tracks purchased via consumer services such as iTunes, you are hearing a low-resolution version of what was actually recorded and mastered in the studio. ProStudioMasters offers the original studio masters — exactly as the artist, producers and sound engineers mastered them — for download, directly to you.

What do I need for playback?

You may need additional software / hardware to take full advantage of the higher 24-bit high-res audio formats, but any music lover that has heard 16-bit vs 24-bit will tell you it's worth it!
