Billboard 200 - #4, 1978 UK Albums Chart - #15, 1979 Billboard Hot 100 - #1, 1978 - You Don't Bring Me Flowers Billboard Hot 100 - #20, 1979 - Forever In Blue Jeans "... its success seems to have made Diamond almost giddy with happiness; this album is one of his best pop collections and is filled with a breeziness untypical of the great man ..." - BBC Music Neil Diamond's 1978 release You Don't Bring Me Flowers was triggered by the worldwide reception to the various homemade mashups of the title song, previously recorded individually by Diamond and then covered by Barbra Streisand. The two superstars teamed up to record an official version, sending this double platinum album into the top five in the US and the top 20 in the UK while the duet was an American number one smash hit. Diamond also scored another top 20 single with the song Forever In Blue Jeans.

This album is a high-resolution digital transfer of material originating from an analogue recording. It may contain noise, distortion or other artifacts, and may also contain audio which is limited in bandwidth and dynamic range, due to the technology available at the time of its original creation. As such, it is offered as a high-resolution documentation of a historical release.

What is High-Resolution Audio?

High-resolution audio offers the highest-fidelity available, far surpassing the sound quality of traditional CDs. When you listen to music on a CD or tracks purchased via consumer services such as iTunes, you are hearing a low-resolution version of what was actually recorded and mastered in the studio. ProStudioMasters offers the original studio masters — exactly as the artist, producers and sound engineers mastered them — for download, directly to you.

What do I need for playback?

You may need additional software / hardware to take full advantage of the higher 24-bit high-res audio formats, but any music lover that has heard 16-bit vs 24-bit will tell you it's worth it!
