Innovative vocal octet Roomful of Teeth returns to its roots with this collection of remixes of the ensemble's self-titled debut album, released in 2012. For this EP, six New York City new music artists were given free reign to remix Caroline Shaw's Pulitzer Prize-winning Partita for 8 Voices, including Olga Bell, Aaron Roche and Morgan Packard. Violinist and vocalist Shaw originally composed the four pieces of the enigmatic Partita between 2009 and 2012 for her colleagues in Roomful of Teeth.
