Chinese-born pianist Feng Bian has risen through the ranks of concert stardom with numerous achievements under his belt, including a bronze medal in the 2014 World Piano Competition and first prizes in the Music Teachers National Association and Parness Young Artists Concerto Competitions. On this release, he interprets Franz Liszt’s transcriptions of Berlioz orchestral works, bringing to these arrangements a blaze of virtuosity in keeping with Liszt’s legacy.
