As the Great European Organs series nears its closure at 100 releases, this volume spotlights the superb organ in the Minster at Southwell in Nottinghamshire. The series has been a pioneer of little known or unrecorded repertoire and this album is no exception with probably all the music receiving worlds premieres. The talented young organist and assistant at the Minster, Simon Hogan, shows off the instrument in fine style.
