Legendary baritone Dmitri Hvorostovsky presents the Russia Cast Adrift song cycle by twentieth-century Russian composer Georgy Sviridov, a composer with whom Hvorostovsky worked closely. A setting of poems by Sergei Yesenin, this is a moving collection of art song performed with tenderness and intensity by Hvorostovsky, accompanied by the St Petersburg State Symphony Orchestra and conductor Constantine Orbelian.
