Zach Gill follows his 2013 holiday EP with Life In The Multiverse, a collection of songs that finds the multi-instrumentalist from Jack Johnson's band and ALO leafing through moments as if flipping through a photo album set to a soundtrack of witty and pensive pop music punctuated by swaggering, jazzy panache. In the garage studio of his Santa Barbara home, Gill cooked up demos and, joined by his longtime bandmates Steve Adams (bassist from ALO) and Adam Topol (Jack Johnson's drummer) as well as some other very special guest musicians, he took those ideas and recorded the music with a clear vision for the entire body of work, splitting it into two halves, side A and side B. "Throughout the whole recording process, I kept thinking in terms of two distinct sides. The first half of the record is outward and social, groovy and playful, very much a part of the modern world. Full of drum machines, synthesizers, electric guitars and special guests. The second half is soft and acoustic instrument driven, dreamy and free flowing, focusing lyrically on the mysteries of life, things we feel, but can't necessarily prove through reason." - Zach Gill

What is High-Resolution Audio?

High-resolution audio offers the highest-fidelity available, far surpassing the sound quality of traditional CDs. When you listen to music on a CD or tracks purchased via consumer services such as iTunes, you are hearing a low-resolution version of what was actually recorded and mastered in the studio. ProStudioMasters offers the original studio masters — exactly as the artist, producers and sound engineers mastered them — for download, directly to you.

What do I need for playback?

You may need additional software / hardware to take full advantage of the higher 24-bit high-res audio formats, but any music lover that has heard 16-bit vs 24-bit will tell you it's worth it!
