Innovative cellist Ben Sollee's band Kentucky Native—comprised of percussionist Jordon Ellis, fiddle player Julian Pinellis, banjo player Bennett Sullivan, bassists Jonathes Estes and Josh Hari, and backing vocalist Jona Smith—present their unique and diverse take on bluegrass for their first self-titled release, presenting 11 tracks that explore the experiences of real working-class Americans of all kinds.
