The musicians—Marie Nishiyama and Corina Marti—also perform on less familiar instruments such as the organetto (a portable pipe organ) and the clavicymbalum (a predecessor of the harpsichord), creating a unique soundworld that allows listeners to experience pieces by Guillaume de Machaut, Raimbault de Vaqueiras, and numerous anonymous composers in new ways.
