This release is the second-to-last in Priory Records' series of organ works by early 20th-century German composer Sigfrid Karg-Elert. It includes the 7 Pastels from the Lake of Constance, an evocative programmatic piece exploring the composer's interest in nature, and the Organ Symphony in F Sharp Minor, an epic solo piece which explores the immense sonic possibilites of that instrument, both performed by renowned German organist Stefan Engels.
