Digital Booklet
"... fresh and essential ... an organ trio that sounds elementally light on its feet, able to turn on a dime and dance delicately ... the kind of record jazz can always use more of: smart and sweet, not too far out, but never too easily in." - PopMatters.com "... might be familiar, but it’s not typical ... builds in momentum with each track ..." - JazzTimes.com "Gracefully human moments contrast with digital video game syncopation ... (a) journey through quiet times that nod at nostalgia, to full on jam rock ballyhoo. Shepik's gorgeous tone and intricate skill reverberate with a dusty, American open-road mentality ... you can almost feel the breath of each player ... an album that's more than just another really good jazz fusion disc." - All About Jazz While named after himself. guitarist Brad Shepik's trio is as much about his bandmates as Shepik himself, with Gary Versace on Hammond B-3 and Tom Rainey on drums. All three masters of musical invention, this album features technically advanced, elegantly integrated, beautifully detailed jazz improvising. It’s also pretty soulful. The trio has a knack for honing in on the heart of the music, reflecting both the exhilaration of collective creation and the subtler emotional tints unique to each piece.

What is High-Resolution Audio?

High-resolution audio offers the highest-fidelity available, far surpassing the sound quality of traditional CDs. When you listen to music on a CD or tracks purchased via consumer services such as iTunes, you are hearing a low-resolution version of what was actually recorded and mastered in the studio. ProStudioMasters offers the original studio masters — exactly as the artist, producers and sound engineers mastered them — for download, directly to you.

What do I need for playback?

You may need additional software / hardware to take full advantage of the higher 24-bit high-res audio formats, but any music lover that has heard 16-bit vs 24-bit will tell you it's worth it!
