Ryan Adams's 2003 outing Rock N Roll is a star-studded, raucous affair recorded in one two-week blitz in New York at a studio owned by James Iha, former member of The Smashing Pumpkins. Adams is joined on this album by his girlfriend at the time, actress Parker Posey, as well as Billy Joe of Green Day and bassist Melissa Auf der Maur (Hole, Smashing Pumpkins). As the title and the guest list imply, this is Adams's most rocking album.
