Lamont Dozier is better known as part of the hit making songwriting and production team Holland-Dozier-Holland, responsible for dozens of classic Motown songs and several number one singles. Dozier, a recording artist with various groups prior to joining H-D-H, went back to his recording career after leaving the songwriting team in the 1970s. Black Bach, released in 1974, is his second post-H-D-H solo release and includes the country-tinged single All Cried Out.
