"... serves up cuisine likely to impress even the fastidious gourmet."
- All About Jazz
Recorded in 1957 when trumpeter Lee Morgan was only 19 years old, this all-star session features Pepper Adams on baritone saxophone, Bobby Timmons on piano, Paul Chambers on bass and drummer Philly Joe Jones. Among the highlights is a passionate and stretched-out rendition of Dizzy Gillespie's Night in Tunisia which Morgan makes his own with a "blistering" solo according to All About Jazz.
