The third EP from British pop group The Dunwells, Lucky Ones, displays the broadest musical palette from the quartet so far, incorporating electronics along with the band's trademark acoustic folk-roots sound. The group from Leeds, made up of brothers Joseph and David Dunwell and close friends Robert Clayton and Adam Taylor, was drawn together by a shared love of bands like Bon Iver, Damien Rice and elbow. Helping The Dunwells capture their best ideas on these songs are producer Stephen Harris (U2, Kaiser Chiefs), songwriter Blair MacKichan (Sia) and Manny Marroquin (Kanye West, Rihanna, Pink), who mixed the title track. After being on tour for a long stretch of time, the band had a renewed sense of self, which inspired much of the writing for this EP.
