What began in 1969 as a side project for Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady of Jefferson Airplane has endured for over four decades. This live recording from Hot Tuna is an excellent overview of the evolution of the two musicians since those heady days in the 1960s and contains more than two hours of music. The performances on this album come from the first night of two shows held at the Beacon Theatre in New York in December 2010 to celebrate Kaukonen's 70th birthday and feature special guests including Steve Earle, Warren Haynes, Bob Weir, Larry Campbell and Pete Sears.
