Greek-American Baroque violinist Ariadne Daskalakis and the Ensemble Vintage Köln present Biber's The Rosary Sonatas, a series of 15 sonatas for violin and basso continuo and a closing Passacaglia for solo violin. The programme on this double album is completed with the Sonata in D Major for violin and basso continuo by Biber's colleague Georg Muffat, his only existing violin sonata.
