Love Saves The Day is a return to the classic down and dirty trash can hip-hop blues sound pioneered by G. Love & Special Sauce in the early 1990s. Recorded live in seven days at Jack Johnson’s solar powered studio in Los Angeles, the album captures the raw and unfiltered electricity of the trio, energized by a bevy of guests including Lucinda Williams, Citizen Cope, David Hildago of Los Lobos, Ozomatli, DJ Logic and Money Mark.
