Young Norwegian saxophonist, composer and improviser Mette Henriette Martedatter Rølvåg shows her versatility on this double album that features a trio on disc one and a larger 13-piece ensemble on disc two, bringing together both jazz and classical players. The music shapes its own world, outside genre definitions, as Henriette interlaces form and freedom in fresh ways through her intense and focused tenor saxophone sound.
