The second US album from the Animals, On Tour came out in 1965 and failed to make much of an impact at the time, despite the inclusion of two previously issued hit singles, the original tune I'm Crying and John Lee Hooker's Boom Boom. One of three Animals records produced by Mickie Most (Herman’s Hermits, the Yardbirds, Donovan), On Tour consists almost entirely of cover songs by Chuck Berry, Ray Charles, Jimmy Reed and others. Now remastered using transfers from the original first generation mono tapes, this edition contains three bonus tracks.
