British jazz trombonist and bandleader Chris Barber has been performing and recording nonstop since the mid-1950s; skiffle artist Lonnie Donegan is just one of the many musicians with whom Barber has worked. This remastered collection contains Barber's very first release New Orleans Joys from 1954 which featured two songs by Donegan's Skiffle Group, including the worldwide hit Rock Island Line. Tracks from Barber's subsequent 10-inch LPs and several live numbers complete this package.
