Respected Brazilian jazz guitarist Ricardo Silveira has played on hundreds of albums and worked with Herbie Mann, Gilberto Gil and Milton Nascimento, among many others. On Cosmos he shares credit and songwriting with American bassist John Leftwich, who has recorded and played with such notables as Chet Baker, Rickie Lee Jones and Carmen MacRae. Rounding out the wonderful ensemble here are Hubert Laws on flute and saxophone and drummer Kiko Freitas.
