Amazing Game consists of recordings from the 1990s to the present day that Paolo Conte made for soundtracks of theatre productions and for study and experimental purposes. Conte says he had very carefully tucked these away at the back of various drawers and is now ready to share them on this album, his first all-instrumental collection. Several of the pieces feature improvisation, with Conte's musicians jamming with him as he leads with a few structured bits and spur-of-the-moment sequences.
