Rovshan Mamedkuliev has made a career out of winning contests, having won more than 25 awards in national and international guitar competitions where he has been lauded for his sensitive interpretations and flawless technique. This release was made possible by his win at the 2015 Michele Pittaluga Guitar Competition and features his transcription of Bach’s monumental Chaconne, John Williams’s first solo work for guitar, Rounds, and Joaquín Rodrigo’s musical depictions of Spain.
