Their Southern-Rock-infused tropes of rural life bring a much-needed fun-and-brash attitude to Country music. Inspired by each of their childhoods – Chris Lucas grew up in Baltimore, MD, on the water and Preston Brust, a PK (preacher’s kid), was raised in Kokomo, IN, by way of Arkansas and surrounded by nature – Woods & Water – EP represents both. With five fresh tracks – each one penned by at least one member of the duo – the adventurous and carefree collection bobs on LOCASH’s high-energy twang, along with lyrics that capture their signature big picture optimism and penchant for living large in a small town.
