Versatile Norwegian jazz singer Inger Marie reunited with Swedish guitar virtuoso Ulf Wakenius on 2011's For You, her fourth album. Marie and Wakenius are joined by a Scandinavian dream featuring another Swede, Lars Jansson on piano, with Danes Jesper Bodilsen on bass and drummer Morten Lund, as well as the trumpeting of Norwegian Per Willy Aaserud on several tracks. Among the highlights is a cover version of perhaps the most successful song ever from a Norwegian pop group, A-ha’s Take on Me.
