On his second album devoted to countryman Ronald Stevenson, Scottish pianist Christopher Guild focuses on several strands of the composer's musical personality: his engagement with the folk traditions of Scotland and with Scottish cultural history, his efforts to write rewarding material for young pianists and his creative friendships with other musicians.
