Korean-born British violinist and composer Joo Yeon Sir performs suites and fantasies from Alfred Schnittke, Manuel de Falla, Benjamin Britten, Darius Milhaud and Igor Alexandrovich Frolov on this release. Sir is joined by pianist Irina Andrievsky in a combination that has gained a deserved reputation for both virtuosity and sensitivity.
