12 Kinds of Lost is the seventh album from My Politic but the first to be recorded in a proper studio. The core trio of Kaston Guffey, Nick Pankey and Wilson Conroy worked at the Sound Emporium in Nashville, joined by guest musicians and friends Jen Starsinic on fiddle, Will Cafaro on upright and electric bass and drummer John Wood. The songs, an eclectic mix of folk, Americana, bluegrass, country, blues and roots music, all come from the heart.
