This digital reissue presents a little-known 1960 gem of a collaboration between producer, arranger, and conductor Gordon Jenkins and saxophonist Marshal Royal to a new generation of listeners. Jenkins worked with musicians such as Frank Sinatra and Benny Goodman, while Royal was a member of Count Basie's band, and this release sees these artists combining favourite standards such as Caravan with Jenkins originals like Goodbye, all featuring truly luscious string arrangements.
