This release brings together eight works by eminent contemporary British composer Rob Keeley. Engaging and often playful, this recording made by clarinetist Victoria Soames-Samek, pianist Michael Bell, and marimba player Chris Brannick with the East Winds, ReedPlay Quartet, and the Villiers Quartet, the album includes performances of the celebratory A Blast for Darragh & Mary and 10 Birthday Greetings for Robin Holloway with grotesqueries such as Sonata macabre and warm, timbral experiments like Fanfariations and the title work Ring!.
