Montreal-based guitarist Roberto López presents Criollo Electrik, a concept album that electrifies López's musical language of mixed ancestry. Colombian in heritage, López's music combines the music of his homeland with the sensibilities of his Brazilian percussionist and Ivorian drummer and a wide-range of influences from soukous and Afrobeat to champeta and jazz.
