“When, if ever, have you heard the Chopin Etudes played as pure music, given as naturally as breathing yet recreated from an entirely novel perspective? From Jan Lisiecki, Chopin's poetic essence, hidden beneath every thorny, relentlessly focused problem, emerges with an inimitable subtlety and elegance.”
- Bryce Morrison, Gramophone

“Lisiecki brandishes a full and sonorous tonal palette, and he takes the fast etudes... at a good clip.”
- Gary Lemco, Audiophile Audition

Canadian pianist Jan Lisiecki presents his critically praised renditions of Chopin's iconic Études. A child prodigy, Lisiecki made his concert debut at the age of nine and since then has built a prolific and illustrious career with a particular emphasis on Chopin in his recorded oeuvre, with an affinity for the flowing and lyrical intricacies of that Romantic composer's music.

What is High-Resolution Audio?

High-resolution audio offers the highest-fidelity available, far surpassing the sound quality of traditional CDs. When you listen to music on a CD or tracks purchased via consumer services such as iTunes, you are hearing a low-resolution version of what was actually recorded and mastered in the studio. ProStudioMasters offers the original studio masters — exactly as the artist, producers and sound engineers mastered them — for download, directly to you.

What do I need for playback?

You may need additional software / hardware to take full advantage of the higher 24-bit high-res audio formats, but any music lover that has heard 16-bit vs 24-bit will tell you it's worth it!
