Emily Pinkerton, Patrick Burke, and NOW Ensemble present Rounder Songs, a unique project which draws equally from American folk and contemporary classical traditions. A song cycle for voice, banjo and chamber ensemble, each movement draws on songs from West Virginia and Kentucky about rural drifter figures known as rounders, making for a musically creative release from Pinkerton and co.
