The Dutch modern-classical composer/pianist Matteo Myderwyk is back with a new album of beautiful solo tracks for various keyboard instruments and synthesizers. A brief nostalgia is another relaxing and exciting journey through Matteo Myderwyk's unique sound world. Matteo says:
"I’m delighted to introduce my third project to you. In a way it’s a follow-up to the first one – but while Notes of Longing still suggested a longing to the future, A brief nostalgia is composed mainly with a nostalgic look at the past.
I hope my new album finds its place in people's homes for a brief moment of nostalgia, regardless of whether this consists of sadness, desire or bliss.
For this album I used a wide arsenal of keyboard instruments: grand piano, upright piano, harmonium, organ, choir organ, various synthesizers and drum computers. I hope you’ll enjoy it!"
