Sam & The Terrible News is a group from Quebec City formed in 2020, led by Samuel Paquin (lead vocals and guitar) who we could see evolve within the band Automat. The band is completed by Sébastien Giard (guitar), Jonathan Martel (guitar), Simon Dorval (bass) and Jonathan Racine (drums). On new album Gasoline x Fire, their melodious songs recall the golden years of 90s Californian punk-rock and the raw energy of skate rock at the start of the millennium. Although Sam & The Terrible News is a new project, it is made up of former members of Each On Set and Still My Queen, groups who actively participated in the Quebec underground scene of the 2000s.
