Sarah Connor's Not So Silent Night is given the new guise of “The Cozy Edition”, with three brand new titles for the holidays and the start of the new year.
The three new songs sometimes rely on a Motown feeling, sometimes on messages of peace set to music, in order to finally transform the countdown to the turn of the year into a brand new song.
The core of the new edition are the 13 songs from the celebrated original album Not So Silent Night, which went straight to number 1 in 2022. According to Connor, it is "not a classic Christmas album with 'Ave Maria' and 'Silent Night', but a record with new Christmas songs that we wrote ourselves" - such as the euphoric "Ring Out The Bells", the contemplative "24th “ and the title song “Not So Silent Night,” which “describes a typical Christmas at our house,” as Connor reveals.
“For me, as the title of the record expresses, Christmas is not just a contemplative celebration. For a working mother, Christmas means much more than just a contemplative time.”
