Ariana Grande has released her hotly-anticipated new single “yes, and?” today through Republic Records. Recorded in New York City, the new single was written and produced by Grande, Max Martin, and Ilya Salmanzadeh.
Grande first teased “yes, and?” earlier this week on social media to an immediate outpouring of fanfare online in anticipation for the new single. Now it’s here, the song reveal itself to be is a dancefloor-friendly house-flavored pop track that interpolates Madonna’s “Vogue,” and finds Grande addressing intrigue about her personal life. “Your business is yours and mine is mine” she sings in the bridge.
