The song selection for Ian Moss’ new album, Rivers Run Dry, was simple. No matter the style or genre, just finding good songs was the goal. Recorded over 10 days at Rancom St Studios in Sydney, with additional recording done at Oceanic Studios & Point Blank Studios, Rivers Run Dry reveals Ian's impressive guitar skills and distinctive voice. Co-produced by Ian and Brent Clark, it features the incredible musicianship of Zoe Hauptman – Bass (Neil Finn, Paul Kelly, Missy Higgins), Clayton Doley – Keys (Joe Bonamassa, Jimmy Barnes)and Kerry Jacobson - Drums (Dragon, Mondo Rock) with special guests Julian Moss duetting on the Stevie Wonder classic "Blame it On the Sun", and multiple award-winning songwriter and recording artist Kasey Chambers on the roots inspired "Bury Me." The result is an album that seamlessly covers straight-ahead rock, Latin, funk, country, blues & unapologetic pop. According to Ian, the album does not have any "What the f*ck is that song doing?" moments. The deluxe edition of Rivers Run Dry includes live recordings from the Rivers Run Dry Tour, capturing the band's exceptional performance at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre in August 2023. These live tracks, featuring his outstanding band Zoe Hauptmann on bass (Neil Finn, Paul Kelly, Missy Higgins), Freyja Garbett on keys (Montaigne, Stella Donnelly), Ollie Thorpe on guitars (Matt Corby, Meg Mac), Juanita Tippins on backing vocals (Cold Chisel, Joe Bonamassa) and Kerry Jacobson on drums (Dragon, Mondo Rock). The live tracks offer an honest and captivating glimpse into Moss and his band's dynamic live presence and infectious musical energy.

What is High-Resolution Audio?

High-resolution audio offers the highest-fidelity available, far surpassing the sound quality of traditional CDs. When you listen to music on a CD or tracks purchased via consumer services such as iTunes, you are hearing a low-resolution version of what was actually recorded and mastered in the studio. ProStudioMasters offers the original studio masters — exactly as the artist, producers and sound engineers mastered them — for download, directly to you.

What do I need for playback?

You may need additional software / hardware to take full advantage of the higher 24-bit high-res audio formats, but any music lover that has heard 16-bit vs 24-bit will tell you it's worth it!
