For the 50th anniversary of the legendary Johnny Hallyday album La génération perdue ("The Lost Generation"), Universal Music France presents an exceptional reissue in Super Deluxe Edition with a new stereo mix of the original album and singles from 1966. Disc 1 features the original album with a new 2016 stereo mix and the takes of "Quand un homme perd ses rêves", "Don't Need Nobody", "Le jeu que tu joues", and "Cheveux longs idées courtes". Disc 2 features the 1966 singles collection, also with new 2016 stereo mixes, with complete takes of "Du respect", and "Les coups".
Recorded in London at Olympic Sound Studio, this 8th studio album by Johnny Hallyday marked a turning point in his career. For the session, Hallyday was accompanied by the Blackbirds, which featured Mick Jones, future member of Foreigner. The ensuing album sounded like a revolution, and the impact it had on Hallyday's career ensured that it was!
