Ariana Grande releases her highly anticipated seventh full length album, eternal sunshine, via Republic Records. Grande derived the album title from the 2004 romantic drama film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. She conceived the album as a record of both vulnerability and entertainment.
The album's lead single "yes, and?" – written and produced by the singer, along with Max Martin, and Ilya Salmanzadeh – sets the tone for the album. Upon release, “yes, and?” was met with an outpouring of support from critics and fans everywhere, including Billboard, who said “Inspired by late ’80s dance-pop production, the catchy track is made all the better by Grande’s unshakeable confidence and comfort in her own skin.” Nylon also said ““Yes, and?” is a banger,” while Paper added “It’s sleek, colorful and hooky.”
The song debuted at at the top spot on the Spotify Global Chart, capturing her biggest Spotify streaming debut to date. In addition, the single secured the No. 1 spot on Apple Music Top 100 Global, and the official music video claimed the top spot on YouTube Trending for Music.
This "slightly deluxe" edition features 4 all-new bonus tracks, including the previously heard duet with idol Mariah Carey on single “Yes, and?” and a collaboration with Troye Sivan on “Supernatural.”
