This is Not Your Fault is an album designed to carry you through the stages of guilt. As you make your way through the album you’ll encounter lyrical ‘blame milestones’, each one finger-pointing for human catastrophes. It looks at how that changes you, and where you're left afterwards. The album will chew on you and spit you out anew, forgiven for something you shouldn't ever be blamed for. It lives in the room where it was recorded, having been carefully arranged to those limitations and then left to feel alive. The Deluxe edition makes room for 2 extra unreleased songs, recorded in the same sessions as the album. It also includes some live editions of the record, bringing the songs from the record to life. Green Gardens are four friends who strive to bring inaccessible feelings into a shared band setting. Drawing from the deep wells of art rock and guitar music before them, they owe everything to the earth and their surroundings. Their gentle, ponderous energy invites listeners right into the recording process with a wide-open roomy sound contrasted with thick, heavy emotion. Sitting at the heart of Leeds’ thriving music community, the four members of Green Gardens can be found playing with Far Caspian, Sunflower Thieves, Crake, Carpet, Honey Guide, Niall Summerton and more as well as at their day jobs running shows at Leeds’ iconic Oporto venue, hosting Sofar showcases or pulling pints at the Brudenell Social Club - Green Gardens have come to embody the spirit of collaboration, creativity and sharing that Leeds DIY is famous for. Green Gardens' debut album is the result of years of collaboration together and was made with trusted friends and producers Jamie Lockhart (The Cribs, Mush) & Rob Slater (Yard Act, Crake) at Leeds’ prolific Greenmount Studios.

What is High-Resolution Audio?

High-resolution audio offers the highest-fidelity available, far surpassing the sound quality of traditional CDs. When you listen to music on a CD or tracks purchased via consumer services such as iTunes, you are hearing a low-resolution version of what was actually recorded and mastered in the studio. ProStudioMasters offers the original studio masters — exactly as the artist, producers and sound engineers mastered them — for download, directly to you.

What do I need for playback?

You may need additional software / hardware to take full advantage of the higher 24-bit high-res audio formats, but any music lover that has heard 16-bit vs 24-bit will tell you it's worth it!
