Recorded live in her hometown of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Emmy and Tony winner Kristin Chenoweth performs career-spanning songs from Broadway tunes to gospel to pop standards, even a Donna Summer disco cover. Chenoweth reinterprets her signature song Popular from the Broadway musical Wicked here in five languages. Another of the songs, an emotional ballad called Fathers and Daughters, is deeply personal, focusing on the relationship she has with her father. The album spawned a PBS TV special, filmed for a DVD release.
"I was the most nervous I've ever been. There's no Auto-Tune – it's live!"
