"... a good swinging bopper, with varied mood and pace. A dance party classic."
- LondonJazzCollector
One of the Blue Note's definitive hard bop artists, tenor saxophonist Hank Mobley remains somewhat underappreciated for his straightforward, swinging style. This album comprises tracks from two different recording sessions in 1963 and 1965. Freddie Hubbard is a guest on the 1965 sessions while the 1963 dates were recorded with Donald Byrd on trumpet, pianist Herbie Hancock and drummer Philly Joe Jones.
