"It’s a lot of pressure to put on a finale album that wraps up an almost decade-long arc, but Clancy more than delivers. Full of vim and vigor and crammed with nostalgic callbacks to past albums, it’s a triumphant end of an era." - AP News American musical duo Twenty One Pilots release their seventh studio album Clancy. Titled after the protagonist introduced in their fifth studio album, Trench (2018), the visual album serves as the final chapter in the band's nearly decade-long conceptual series. Like previous works in the series, Clancy is framed in the metaphorical world of "Trench" and the dystopian city of "Dema". It follows the titular character as he returns to Trench to free his fellow citizens of Dema after he escaped and was granted a "miraculous power" in the band's sixth album, Scaled and Icy (2021). Written by frontman Tyler Joseph and produced with frequent collaborator Paul Meany, Clancy was announced on February 29, 2024, following weeks of speculation. Four singles preceded the album's release: "Overcompensate", "Next Semester", "Backslide", and "The Craving".

What is High-Resolution Audio?

High-resolution audio offers the highest-fidelity available, far surpassing the sound quality of traditional CDs. When you listen to music on a CD or tracks purchased via consumer services such as iTunes, you are hearing a low-resolution version of what was actually recorded and mastered in the studio. ProStudioMasters offers the original studio masters — exactly as the artist, producers and sound engineers mastered them — for download, directly to you.

What do I need for playback?

You may need additional software / hardware to take full advantage of the higher 24-bit high-res audio formats, but any music lover that has heard 16-bit vs 24-bit will tell you it's worth it!
