It's Basement Jaxx like you've never heard them before... The duo has teamed up with The Sydney Metropolitan Orchestra to put a symphonic spin on their acclaimed live-show for audiences across Australia.
It’s not the first time they'd done something like this; back in 2011 they got together with the Netherlands' Metropole Orkest for a run of now-legendary live-shows that spawned the audacious collaborative album Basement Jaxx vs. The Metropole Orkest.
Needless to say, when you let the UK's most over-the-top electronic duo run wild with a full orchestra - the results are spectacular.
Listen out for anthems like Good Luck, Do Your Thing and Where’s Your Head At, magically re-worked to accomodate a stage-full of strings, brass, woodwind, keys and percussion – as well as special guests like William Barton (Australia’s leading Didgeridoo player), members of the Young Voices Of Melbourne - and the iconic 'Jaxx singers - Vula Malinga, Lisa Kekaula and Sharlene Hector.
