The Auguste group, led by Alain Bédard, is starting its 27th season. The Auguste quartet new released a new album in the form of Particules Sonores which is quantumly unquantifiable in time and space.
When a sound wave is produced, it interacts with particles of matter. The energy created is transported and diffused, becoming “sound particles”. They are quantifiable or unquantifiable, almost invisible, but color and radiate in time and space.
To propagate these sound particles in all directions, we have the power of Mario Allard on saxophones; the subtlety of Marie-Fatima Rudolf on piano; the boldness of Alain Bédard on double bass; and the ardor of Michel Lambert on drums. L'Auguste Quartet conducts a powerful magnetic field.
