Australian composer and instrumentalist Luke Howard’s forthcoming new album Interlinked, a ballet scored by Luke with contemporary choreographer Juliano Nunes. The album was commissioned by the Birmingham Royal Ballet for the Commonwealth Games in 2022 and performed at the legendary Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival this year. Known for pushing the boundaries of classical dance, Howard's music for Interlinked explores Commonwealth values and challenges gender norms in ballet. Interlinked is a wholly new piece of choreographic work, exploring the influences that we have on each other’s lives and how the energy that we exude bounces from one person to the next, in a never-ending circle.
