Welsh organist Iain Quinn presents a programme offering a glimpse into the rich treasure trove of Scandinavian organ music; a fascinating selection of works from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. In addition to hitherto under-recorded such as Sibelius’s Intrada and Palmgren’s Preludes, the album contains two premieres: Nystedt’s Med Jesus vil eg fara and Másson’s Larghetto, written specifically for this release. Quinn recorded these works in England at Coventry Cathedral, also known as St. Michael's Cathedral.
